Woolworths – Geraldton, WA
BACKGROUND:
Completed in 2017, the project represents a new design standard for Woolworths Shopping Centre. Anchored by Woolworths supermarket mixed used development incorporating 7 specialty shops, conveniently located off Brand Highway – 5kms from Geraldton; the capital of the mid-west region of Perth and major regional service centre.
CHALLENGES:
Safetytech partnered with ADCO Constructions and consultants Wood & Grieve Engineers to design and construct the fire system throughout Woolworths and the specialty tenancies.

Logistics – Site location 406 kms from Perth Metropolitan (8 Hour return trip) was always a worrying factor with a project that carried tight deadlines for completion handover.
SOLUTIONS:
In-house design team completed detailed AutoCAD design drawings including fabrication sheets. The in-house coordination capability was invaluable in assisting with this project been 406km from our offices.
